Hit the point for the 1st time this year last night from 11:30-1:30. Looks like at least a week too early. Found a school of baitfish (I'm guessing bunker) swirling around around the corner and had 4 or 5 nibbles there but couldn't hook up. Probably teeny tiny bass. Threw the entire night bag, but that was the only action. Beautiful night, nearly full moon.
A couple of boats were parked close to shore. Thought that might be a good sign. Wrong.
Thinking of going south tonight. Not too sure if I want to hit the bay, inlet, or open beach.
