Hit the spot in N. Westchester today for last half of outgoing. Finally nailed a 36 inch -maybe 20 pounder or more -on a long blood. Heard that was the only fish caught all day there. I say maybe 20 because fish was very fat ( I know most 36 are in the 18-21 class.) I speculated that it was a fat female filled with eggs ( although nothing visible) so I quickly measured and safely released her. So far that's the largest surf fish I've heard of in that area this season. Hopefully more to come for me and others. <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=170161" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> |
