Haven't been out over 1 week and a half and it's been killing me. The hard E and NE winds combined with huge surf has kept me away from the beach. The forecast called for more moderate surf today and calmer winds, so I finally made it out this morning. Hearing my usual area has been weeded out this entire week, I figured I'd explore a new spot. I studied the nautical charts and located a spot that is supposedly 10 ft deep at the shoreline. Fished 6:30-8:30. Water clear with a tinge of brown and dotted with weed. Fishable. Too bad the beach is just flat until 200 yards out. No bait, no fish, and no signs of life. I doubt I'll go there again. Too much shallow water before any drop off. We need some SW wind in a bad way. <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=166924" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> |
