Had a good night last night. Walked the stretch from 11pm until the slack high at 2:30. Not much of a breeze, I think from the north. Clear skies, no white water to work with except some wash at the shoreline, water clean.

Just kind of walked and blindly casted since there wasn't any surf revealing any structure. Walked the whole stretch for 7 bass from 18-27 inches. All fish safely returned. All fish caught on soft plastics. Tried swimmers, metal lips, and bucktails for nothing. Perhaps the fish are on sand eels.
