Fishing Locations

I'm pretty new to Kayak fishing. When I first purchased my kayak everyone told me that Kayak fishing is a whole new world of fishing. Im not trying to spot burn but could you guys give me examples of where kayak fising should be done. Should I be focasing on fishing marshes? Are there fish in the Marshes? I live by the Robert Moses area so if somone could lead me in the rite direction I would greatly appreciate.

You should consider becoming a member of our club, Kayak Fishing Association of New York. We have a forum on our web site that has an extensive list of launch locations across Long Island. Also as a member you can join us on our monthly fishing outings across Long Island. You will also meet other members who will gladly partner up with you to fish together , a great way to learn new spots from experienced fisherman.
