Me and my family are from New York, Westchester County to be exact and we go to Ocean City every year around June 28 and its hard for us to find fishing details like how good the fish are running and where everybody is catching them. We normally go to Corson's Inlet and fish off the bridge but last year really didn't produce much fish and we also go to the 5th street jetty which produces fish if you go at the right time. In the Ocean City Visitors Guide, THERE IS A NEW FISHING PIER. ANY BODY TRY IT YET, ANY LUCK THERE. ALSO, WE WERE WONDERING WHERE WE CAN CATCH OUR OWN MINNOWS IN THE AREA. WE TRIED A LITTLE POND IF YOU WANT TO CALL IT THAT A QUARTER MILE FROM CORSON'S BUT DIDN'T PRODUCE MANY NICE SIZE MINNOWS

we go every year.....don't go out of ocean city. travel one more town south and there is a 65 foot wood catamaran that is old but excellent to fish off of. we did a seabass trip from 5pm to 11pm (or something along those lines)and it was nonstop action and the crew was awesome....i think it was called either the Starlight or Twilight...

i went in OC about 5 times and its pure tourists....

We do the same thing every year, even the same week. The guys at Finatics are a huge help, they will point you in the right direction if you are fishing on the beach, bay side, boat, party boat, etc. I?ve gone out on party boats out of Sea Isle City (one town south), also done open charters on the Karen Ann in Atlantic City and the Adam Bomb in Cape May ? I?d recommend both of those boats, and with the open charter you are just paying for your own spot, if they have an opening, so its not too much more than a party boat. I think it?s the Starfish out of Sea Isle and also the Capt. Robbins (old and slow, but supposed to be good for bluefish).
