Well been trying and asking around . Seems like the body of fish that came through have disappeared? There was some action out east in the beging of the week but that body is moving down the beach. Maybe the weather is pushing them off a bit. Some pods of herring but not enough to get them going yet! Hope this weekends Noreaster will do the trick? Oh well theygot to show up soon. hope before the 15th of Dec.! last year the fishing was hot all the way in to Jan. but then you can't kepp them. but you can play with them:)
Keep your fingers crossed and go see a gypsy quick .

tuna stick

Megalodon! you would have a tough time killing a tuna with that rod. Its a 7 ft .25lb class soft action rod I had made by Sea Isle specifically for dead sticking clams. Its rigged with a 320 GTI. The reason for the rollers is its a lot easier to drag in a bucketmouth when you are anchored in a 5 knot current when you don't have to fight the friction of the guides. Its a lot easier on the line also.

No hex here ,"I got the power"

25 lb clear andy doubled for the last 8 ft. with a 4 ft 60lb florocarbon leader with an 8/0 circle hook. I put a 1 oz egg sinker on the double line with a bead on top to prevent it from going above the knot.

glad to hear you got the power

one more question about your setup,

did sea isle suggest this rod to you ,
or was it your idea to build it this way ?

ok, just one more.
when you say dead sticking,
do you mean that you only fish this rod in the holder and do not hold it ?

thanks
