flyrodder do you limit yourself only to fly casting

tbone 99.9% of the time I flyfish. I used to be a surfcaster but now I get more enjoyment catching stripers,blues,weakfish,fluke,bonito,false albacore and even blackfish with a flyrod. Don't think flyrodders only catch schoolies. We catch lots of keeper stripers to.

i also cast the long rod,and i do know you can catch big fish on the fly as a matter a fact my biggest fish on the fly is 27lbs.
come on down to one of the mettings see if the club is for you!

tbone I wasn't offended. Sorry if my post was taken in that manner. I wanted to join a surf club that is involved in the New York Surf Fishing Contest. I would like to enter that contest in the flyrod division thats why I'm interested in joining.
By the way that was a nice striper on the flyrod.
