Captainhookem, good question, I have not seen the latest fishing fashion trends from Paris yet, however last year the White Lacrosse Boots were in, you just couldn't wear the Morton Salt Boy So'easter hat with them. Another question, I have Grundens in White, Green, and Orange. Have you heard anything on any newer, flashier colors coming out? Also, do you think the Helly Hanson Yellows will ever come back in fashion or should I just heave them?

I think the yellow Helly Hansens are still acceptable while inshore fishing. I wear the orange Grundens in the summer and the green after Labor Day. I'm Still not sure about the boot thing though. I wore my white boots the other day and I could sense guys snickering at them as I walked by with my chum...I felt so violated.

On a more serious note....Does anyone know of a good fishing boot that actually keeps your feet warm?? I have three pairs of red ball and lacrosse boots, and while they are good for the summer, they stink when it is cold. I would rather not spend $200.00 from cabellas for something that is good to 600 degrees below zero.

I've been using these boots for years they are great. The soles are non marking they have a steel shank for arch support. Get an extra pair of liners so if you fish a couple of days in a row you can switch the liners so they are always dry. Lou
