My buddy bought a Hummingbird fish finder last year and is having problems with the power button not staying on unless he sticks a hook in it. Hummingbird wants $200.00 bucks just to look at it. Anyone know any good service guys in the tri-state area? Thanks

How much did the unit cost? Sounds like it might make sense to replace it rather than repair it.

I think he said he paid between $500 to $600.00 bucks for it. I would think that it should still be under warranty but he said it was not covered.

Try to contact the Local Humminbird Rep and work it through them as they have some pull...Good Luck
