Hacklehead or sculpin

it's a small almost minnow like "looks like member of sea robin family".
I don't know if the fish would be referred to as a sculpin "which it does look like a sculpin that I've seen in the streams upstate NY, or if it would be known officially as "Hackle Head"?
 
I've also caught,..

What looks to me like baby amber jacks. I've also heard of other people catching some jack Crevalles. People have also landed tarpon, red drum, sheepshead, and what about those red fish on the deep water wrecks in NYS amd NJS waters.

Crocodile needlefish-- their range is circumglobal in warm seas. I got one one 30" long last September from shore.Big suprize when it jumped -- I was figuring I had a ****tail on.

If you were to flip it over...
It looks like the bone / cartilage from a Skate's head; with the long pointed piece being the bridge of their nose.
Maybe? :confused:

Saw a fish caught at Breezy yesterday that I've never seen before. Strangely the guy who caught it knew immediately what it was. Never heard of one caught around here & I don't think it's on the list.
