I received these four rather strange fish decoys for lack of a better word for Christmas. They were purchased at an antique auction. They appear to be pretty old. The weird thing about them is they all have lead melted into them. Anyone know why this is? They don't have any place for hooks so I don't know whats up. Any ideas??

Tom-

I think you nailed it. I followed the link to the authors web site: http://www.fishdecoys.com/

Clicked on the "photos" link & scrolled to the bottom. There is one decoy with the same metal dorsal fin as the ones springman has.

BTW - nice furniture Springman
