Trestle

I haven't fished there much but I can give you some second hand advice. I know a guy who used to fish from on top of that bridge and he used baby blackfish back in the day. Now he uses Assassins. He's also chunked there and done well. I've seen guys trolling bucktails, just stemming the tide and dragging the lure across the face of the bridge. Again this is all 2nd hand and observation so take it with a grain of salt.

trestle trips

keep my boat in eyeshot of the trestle. during spring LIRR guys fish off the bridge and bag stripers frquently. They say the police will chase you if you fish of the bridge. but easily castable from several locations nearby and if you baot easy to handle. watch out for northeast side of trestle. losts of debree and shalows on that end.
