Well today was my first time out kayaking/flyfishing in salt water. I went out to Nissequogue River and explorered and fished from about noon to 9pm. What a blast! Lost one real nice striper but the real story was learning the area and getting around with the boat. Wow! I can really see what you guys have been doing!

Anyone want to get out in the next week or so? I'm hooked.....

There are no signs.I don't think the town of smithtown wants anyone to know the park exists. You have to get on St.Johnland road. What I do is take sunken meadow to indian head road.I take that to 25a east and then make a left onto St.Johnland road. The entrance is about a mile down on the left.I'm meeting down there sunday at 6 a.m. with Craig anyone else who's interested is welcome to come along.
Regards,
