FIRST NOREAST BELMONT STAKES GET TOGEATHER

This is fo real - We will be meeting at Belmont Park at 7:30 AM on June 7th

Lets see how many guys and gals we can go with and hopefully make it an annual event. We will bring coolers with food and beverage si milar to a Noreast Fishing charter

I called up Belmont and tickets will go on sale at 7:30 but not a definite time yet. The lady told me if we get their EARLY we have an excellent chance of securing a picnic table and get an Apron spot to watch the race.

You guys should arrange to meet somewhere else and carpool intot he track. Traffic and parking are going to a real mess when the race is over. Been there done that. Maybe meet in flushing and go out to dinner afterwards.

You can always take the LIRR if you don't want to drive. Just have a place to meet at or make sure all parties have a cell number to call to find out where you are.

Actually it is a good idea and I have some ideas where we can meet and take the train. The traffic around Belmont is nothing short of a Cluster^&*&k

If your going to get there that early park in the lot on the south side of Hemptead ave ( get off the Cross Island at Hempstead Ave) and pull up closest to the gate that filters right onto the Cross Island. You can drop off the coolers and whatever right by the underpass that goes under Hempstead Ave. Wish I could be there that day, but will be in SC for a wedding that day and then a week in Myrtle Beach. Leaving the boys home
