I know they are by no means an accurate but they cost no where near as much and like many others i prefer star drags for jigging (though i really think its time someone just made something in the middle).

that said i have a contact that wants to get me the 30 size...personally hopeing for low speed 4.3:1...matching it up with a st. croix premier sv70hf (maybe not ideal but used her last year successfully on 80lb class yft)

know these reels are pretty new but anyone have any experience with them yet? Fin Nor deffinetly has the history/reputation that i will give them a shot but first hand info on sizeing and performance would be appriciated.

You already know I like them, but I'm curious -- your "contact" told me the 20's and then tells you 30's?

Does he think you're catching bigger fish than me or that the extra 5 oz might be too much for delicate little me???
