Just use the sonar on your fishfinder to look for bunched up balls on the screen. When you see this cast behind the boat let it sink to whatever depth they are and start reeling, then when you feel a bump snag. Also look for splashes on the surface.
FINDING BUNKER IN THE CANALS NEAR JONES INLET OR RENYOLDS
HEY EVERYONE,
ARE THERE SPECIFIC PLACES IN THE BACK I CAN LOCATE BUNKER SCHOOLS.
I WOULD THINK THAT SOME OF THE CANALS AND ENTERANCE WAYS TO RENYOLDS CHANNELS WOULD HOLD SOME BUNKER.
I KNOW EVERYONE IS ALWAYS ON THE RADIO ASKING WHERE THEY ARE OUTSIDE THE INLET BUT I WOULD THINK THAT THERE MUST BE SOME AREAS THAT "ALMOST" ALWAYS HAVE BUNKER AROUND.THANKS.
