Top of tide today (Monday) at J.B. #10. Tried area and got 1 Blue off pier on white bucktail/R&W rind. Left the area after an hour or so and drove to Work Dock by Coast Guard Stat. Maybe 8-9 guys there. Some Bait fishing and some casting. After didn't see much until maybe 3:30 or so when a blue or two were caught. Birds had been working maybe 200 yds north of dock. Now they weren't working but we started catching. Almost everyone started hooking up that I saw. Took a few pics but stopped due to not wanting to soak my phone cam in rain. The gentleman in the pic had 4 or five when I took his Pic. They ran from a few pounds up to maybe 8-10 lbs. Unusually lethargic big ones but I guess they are this time of year. I had several big ones that I expected to rip some line out but they didn't. Nice time stopped counting blues after a dozen. All returned uninjured (LOL if you don't consider the hook through the mouth thing). Around 5:30 I packed it in with them still biting. Very flat water (with the fog). Didn't try the WE Jetty since there was a small craft warning and I was catching. No bass observed being caught, but that doesn't mean they weren't. When leaving there were notably more fisherman arriving (end of work hours).
Oh BTW, CHRIS, I didn't forget, I would have called you but they were too far off. I had my rod in the truck and didn't bother. Maybe tomorrow?
With the later tide tomorrow it should be hot when guys get off work. Tight Lines all.
