All great episodes, but then again there are very few episodes that arent all that great, although there is the one where they sing for the whole episode, thats the only one I can truly say I dislike. Keep them coming

In addition to the episodes already mentioned, two really stand out.

1/ The one that introduced Kudos and Kang - the "Octopus Aliens" - in which they kidnap Bob Dole and Clinton for "Study" and then go down to Washington and win the election, causing the ruin and enslavement of Earth

2/ I don't remember the episode name, but its the one in which Homer is introduced to the "Secret Society" that actually rules the world. In it, the members have that unforgetable song with the chorus "We do, we do." One of the secret members is a little alien Martian guy - very funny stuff.

I have two favorites:

1) Mr Burns opens a Casino and Marge becomes addicted to gambling. Homer goes to try to confront her about the problem:

Homer: "I think we have a problem"
Marge: "Last night i won $75"
Homer: "Woohooo, problem solved!"

A lot more great lines from that episode:
"Bart, I don't mean to alarm you but there might be a boogie man or boogie men in the house!"

"Remember when I let that crazy person in the house because he was dressed like Santa Claus, well thats nothing because youuuuu have a gambling problem"

2) The yo-yo episode. Too funny. Its from the 3rd season which i have to get on DVD when it comes out.

Lep,
That was the Stonecutters episode, another good one.

classic

Favorite episode: Homer goes to the chili tasting competition and then goes on a mystical journey after eating the peppers from chief wigham (forgot the exact name).
Favorite Quote(s): "Donuts, and the possibility of more donuts"

"Here's to alcohol: the source of, and answer to, all of life's problems"

All episodes are great. My two
favorites aer when Mr Burns buys the softball team out, Sosa, Griffy, Mattingly etc to win the Championship, Homer wins the game by "taking on for the Team" and the episode when Marge and Homer go on a retreat for marrige consouling and Homer goes fishing instead and ends up fighing for the nastest fish in the Lake. I forget the name of the fish but I bet someone does know.

Two of my favorite episode

The yo-yo episode

Raekwon, I havent seen that episode in years, I look forward to watching it on DVD whenever the 3rd season comes out. I think the best quotes have got to come from Ralph Wiggum. Im a big B&B fan (got the best of on DVD) but those two dont compare to the hilariousness of the Simpsons.

"Doctor says my nose wouldnt bleed so much if I would just keep my finger out of it."

"But you choo-choo-choose me"

"Hi Supernintendo Chomers"

"Oh boy sleep thats where Im a viking"

Two favorites.

The one when homer is going to fix the toaster and zaps himself into the time warps. Its classic when he finally gets the perfect family and asks for the donuts at breakfast and they don't have any donuts in that time period he screams and bolts then it starts raining donuts. The other is the bootlegging episode when they smuggle the booze in with the bowling balls and the stills keep exploding in his basement. But the best thing about the simpsons is when you are watching it with your wife and the kids are watching itchy and scratchy and they kill each other like they always do and bart and lisa start cracking up as you start to laugh your wife looks over at you with disgust because she realizes just how immature we really are. I love that.

Choosing just one is impossible...

But let's not forget the Junior Camper's episode in which homer gets spooled while using a cheese doodle for bait. "God speed little doodle" (Flanders) - I still mutter under my breath when I send a crab down for Mr. Tog.

sentimental favourite in my book is still Bart the Genius, for no other reason than because the word "kwyjibo" is still part of my and my friends' vocabularies.

also thought the episode when Homer had his heart attack was hysterical just for the facial expressions Homer made when Burns was yelling at him right before he actually dropped.

On a related note, anyone ever think that the whole idea behind "The Osbournes" is to just make The Simpsons a foul-mouthed live-action show instead of a cartoon? :)

Ralph Wiggum is one of my favorite characters.

I love the Chili pepper one. And I love the one where Ralph and Bart are playmates. And the one where they get caught on the island.

All great stuff.

"When I grow up, I want to be a principal or a caterpillar. I love you principal Skinner."

"That's my sand box, I'm not allowed in the deep end. And that's where I saw the leprachaun. He told me to burn things."

"We're a totem pole. Heya Hiya Heya Hiya"

"They taste like burning"

"Miss Hoover, there's a dog in the ceiling." "Just like the time you saw snaggle puss outside?" "He was going to the bathroom"

"And the day the doctor told me I didn't have worms anymore, that was the happiest day of my life."

"Meow"

Homer's true genius shows when he has the crayon removed from his brain, via his nose.

The dream team episode that someone mentioned was also a classic.

"Mattingly...shave those sideburns!"

Griffey Jr. getting the gigantism of the head was one of the funniest things I've ever seen...no offense to anyone with gigantism.
