Whos ready for fall??

And what are you planning to fish for?

Me? Well I have lots of plans, from harassing the New Croton bass population from shore to hunting for monster Pickeral and crappies in the area lakes. Of course our striped friends in the salt get a lot of my time too..

Pulaski, Salmon river?

The Deleware?

Greenwood Lake?

Whats your plans?

What won't I fish for?

Hey Crash, Other than the Delaware, you mentioned everything else I'll be trying. Ususally I start with the bass and crappies too. Walleye in East Br. is a common fall trip for me, but your pic in the previous post says it all about how that will go. I'm planning a trip to Oswego in the end of Oct. (24-27) I've also done well on the stripers in the Hudson during the end of Sept. and right through the end of that season. Once we get a few frosts, I also like casting big spoons for lakers and browns in Kensico Res. West branch res. is my mainstay since I have a boat there. I just put it there this spring so I'm still learning the lake. There are plenty of browns, a smattering of walleye and lakers, and what I really want to see is how fast landlocks grow in three months, since the DEC stocked them in the end of June/beginning of July. I have to admit, pheasant, turkey, and deer will be getting most of my attention until the hard water season is upon us. Tight Lines!!
