After being trapped in NYC during yesterdays nice weather- ( bad Tape & B of C) 60ish today- CALM - and perfect for practice. It's FRIDAY!!!was able to get out @ 4:15pm ---made great time and was ready and stepping onto the sand @ 5pm on the nose. saw 1 tiny minnow upon my 1st step. dead low - 4:32pmish was still low @ 7pm So low I walked all over recon the lay of the land. -found an old trap left over from last season- tryed to get an underwater shot--COLD hands. moved on and saw a worm sticking out of the sand - pulled it out for a pict- already dead. Practiced casting a clouser I made - for the 1st time took me the entire time to get it going. Double stripped under my arm for the 1st time too. it's cool. - saw many worms floating by @ surface and deeper. - Found a pair of Over board glasses still in the case ( if they are yours refer to my lost and found Box) - Saw a "clam" boat float by see pict.. - WOW what a sunset!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic.... Flounder opener Sunday April 1 - I'll pass -but good luck to all.
