The Eastern Flyrodders of Long Island will hold an "open house" meeting on Tues, April 8, 2008 at 7:30 PM for anyone interested in learning the basics of saltwater fly-fishing.
Four short presentations will introduce participants to rods, reels, lines, flies, and the fundamentals of saltwater fly-fishing. Popular fishing locations will also be discussed. If you would like to participate in this informative evening of fly fishing discussions, you are cordially invited to attend the session. Eastern Flyrodders welcome all newcomers to join its experienced crew who will be on hand to help with all your questions.

i want to thank all the members and guests who came down last night for our "Fly Fishing 101" night. The turn out was fantastic and it looked like everyone had a nic time.

I'd also like to thank my fellow members who put togther their information tables and Matt for helping me with mine.

Nice job by all and it was great to see all the new faces.
