Ever year in the spring. large schools of Squid migrate inshore followed by large fluke and other predators. These squid are eaten and frozen for bait later in the season. Some of them are large and make good shark baits. Does anyone know what time in the spring do they usually arrive in the Montauk area???????

Jay, whats up? I just ordered the Fisherman can't wait to get started.Looked at the new lot by the coast guard sta. at Jones Beach,you can easily launch but it's a little rocky.west end two has picnic tables and BBQ pits good place for anything
