I had a friend out today with there son Dylin. The nite bite has been better but I wanted the boy to be comfortable so we headed out late morning. Incomming tide, N-NE changing more dead E as the day went. Clean water, Loads of bait around, Big and small. First stop, Loaded the well with shad quickly. Dylin had a ball just pulling shad on my bait jigging stick. Headed outside and saw birds to the east. Nice bass blitz going on, just no nice bass in the pack. we played with some schoolies for a hour or so and went on a mission. Headed to a hole inside for the last of the flood tide and Dylin landed his biggest fish ever on my smallest rod. Dylin battled that monsta like a pro. The suspence was killing me....LOL. After about 10 minutes he got him to the net. Great job Dylin. The tide turned and I headed back outside and I got to fight a linesider to the boat with that same rod. They just luv my lil stick :O) The fish had me spooled to the end before we scrambled to get the other rods up. I had to start the boat and chase her threw the breakers to get line back. He had me to the knot.. I was chittn my grundens....lol The fish wasnt that big but on that gear its exciting to say the least..... It was another entry in the log books today. It was great fishing with you folks and THANK YOU. ......GO GITTM......CAPT.
