Keep your hooks sharp. That is key. Also try letting it sink a little, but not too much. If you are fishing the right depth, you should be feeling a few bumps of other fish before you finally snag one. Good Luck!

dumb question
why is that i was able to spot pods of bunker everywhere.. happy fins going across the water but NOT able to snag any.. threw my treble snag about 15 times right over the pods.. NADA. what the heck?!? is it me?
