me and a buddy of mine are going to head out to the mecca for the first time on saturday.we are leaving levittown at about 230am and spending the day out there.we both have what we think and have been told is good to go out there with.korkers, plugs, bucktails, rods, reels, and line.now the only thing is that i don't want to go out there and step on anybodys feet.i am not asking for anybody to burn a spot or anything like that but,to be pointed in the right direction.i have the state permit for my truck if that helps out at all.thank you to anyone that has any little bit of information that they are willing to share.

if you are looking to blitz fish.. take a look from the high elevations..binoculars will help you...avoid the actual schools and throw bucktails the entire day. if you gonna jump in line watch how the line works for 5 minutes then go for it...if you cross someone say sorry...keep the drag tight and horse the fish..esp if in a rip; you also may want to arrive there in somewhat daylight...MTK is a whole different ball game in the dark...

If you are going to do some rock hopping make sure you watch that rock for 5 minutes also. See how the waves are hitting the rock to make sure it won't take you out when you get down there.
