Keep your drags tight when rinseing
I will rinse my reel,drags tight, soap & water the rod with a sponge.WD40 is a must on the reel,to reduce corrosion.After I'm all done loosen drags all the way,finnally I put reel covers on all my reels,& store them on my rack in the garage.I do this everytime.I also rinse off al my gear,including plugs,wader's& rain coat.I rinse everything off everytime.
