Whats your take on psychics? I'm not talking about fortune tellers,I'm talking about special connections to the other side.
I'm not a religous guy at all and use to believe that once you die you just rot away and thats the end.But since 911 I visited a few different pyschics with my wife. Some were just ok but some nailed things right on the head. They made a believer out of me and changed my whole outlook on death.I now believe that we are all at the same show but the ones we lost are just on the other side of the curtain.
They are always with us...
What do you think?

No. I don't believe them Paulie.

My mother visits them occasionally, and she gets the session recorded. One time, the girl made predictions about me, so Mom begged me to listen to the tape. Mom regretted that, as I listened and showed her where everything the psychic told her, either my Mom had told her earlier in the conversation without realizing it, or was just such an obtuse statement that would apply to anyone. But poor Mom wants to believe in them so bad, she'd refuse to listen to what we all told her. And every prediction she made, never came to fruition.

I believe there is something to it. I also believe there are alot of fakes out there. I never gave the subject much thought until my father came down with cancer. I was working with someone who went to
see one of the people who worked with the Police. He was a Psychic and didn't know me at all. When my co-worker came into work after seeing this person,She was all excited and said he picked up on me. She told me things that could fit into place but very general. Well, she continued seeing this person and every time she saw him she would tell me events that was convincing me there could be something to this.
To be honest It was starting to freak me out. The one thing that made me a believer that there is something to this is a special event that took place twards the end of my fathers life.
One day I was at home and she came to my apartment very excited. I was so stressed out with helping my father through this delema I told her I didn't want to hear any more.
Well she continued to say the Psychic said there was something about my fathers Stomach. At this point I thought it was all Bull S***.
The reason for this is, He had Lymphoma which is Cancer of the Lymph nodes and had nothing to do with his stomach.
He went for Kemo and was taking some strong medicines and wasn't eating much.
One day his doctor came to us and said he was bleeding in his stomach due to the medication. They operated on him and found out he had a perferated intestine and had to remove a section. The surgery went well but, They left the wound open to drain. The nurse came in and changed the dressing. I asked her if she needed any help and she said If I wanted too it would be fine. As I looked at the incision it was a big gash and couldn't believe what I was seeing.
At that instant I remembered what my co-worker said about his stomach. It hit me like a ton of bricks and till this day I will never forget it. The point I am making is,there was no way anyone could have known about his stomach at the time she told me about it.
A few months after the surgery he passed away. Was it true? It was just too strange of an event for me to doubt it.

I know what your saying Chris, witness a person like that myself once.
I don't believe in predictions,I need something in black and white to believe in.My wife believe in these guys long before me and I used to tease her and called it all B.S.
Then about 6 months after 9/11 I took her to see a guy in the island.I stayed in the car not believing still. When she got out we headed home on the L.I.E. and she put the recorded session in the tape player for me to hear. All she gave was yes and no answeres, nothing else to lead them on.I couldn't believe what I was hearing and my eyes began to fill up with water and had to pull over.
Anyway, when I got back to work I mentioned this to other non-believers and they thought I am nuts,LOL(I would think the same before this). So I make an appointment for myself using a totally made up name.I sit down and within the first 30 seconds he tells me my dead grandmothers name right off the bat.Since then they have my attention. Some guys are fakes but there a few people out there with some special gifts.

ok,lets just say that if you were open minded enough to go to one of the good pyschics and you sat down and he said the name of someone close to you that passed would it get you attention?
What if he named some of your relives that has passed and you went under another name so he couldn't look up any info?
If they told you something that only you and the person that passed knew and it wasn't written down anywhere for them to find would you listen closely?
Hmmm???

I have a good one. Some will remember the Katie Beers story from a while back. She went missing and they could'nt find her. They called in a psychic to try to help. My lawyer was at court that day and when the psychic came outside she could'nt find her car. LMAO he said it was the greatest thing watching her walk around the court parking lot looking for her car.

I believe that we all need something to believe in, whatever it may be.

As for phychics, pretty much most of them are scammers and fakes, but I do believe there are a few that can really connect to the other side or look into the future in some sort of way.

Did you ever go somewhere or do something and have that feeling you've done it before?

.........you know you have..........

There's a reason for Deja vu.
We are made up of more than flesh and bone.....we are a form of energy that make the body work. When the body is no longer suitable (death) our energy (spirits)leaves it. Some look for a new host.
.........Do you believe in reicarnation?

Native American Indians believed that you die to live again.

Is there life after death..........one day we may all find out.

.............Ed understands

I'm generally a major skeptic when it comes to psychics. However, a few months ago, I was at work at the Bank, helping two Native American Women who ran a Historical Society. So we're chatting amicably for a few minutes, when one of them looks me dead in the eye and asks "What are you going to name your Son?". At this point, my Wife was 3 months pregnant, and we hadn't told anyone but family, and we obviously didn't know the sex of the baby. It was funny, because the other woman said to her "You can't just do that to people!". Now that she had my attention, she proceeded to tell me stuff about my family history that was dead on, and she also new that my Wife was part Cherokee (1/8 to be exact). About a month later, my Wife went to see another psychic. This one asked if she had an infant son. She said no, but she was pregnant. She told her that despite the Baby's due date falling in late September, the Baby was definitely a "Virgo Child" and that he would "Make his presence known" during pregnancy, however my Wife's labor would be easy, and that he would weigh almost 8lbs and would be a very good baby.

Well, on Sept. 5th, my Son Sean was born, 3 weeks early, which makes him a Virgo. He made his presence known by keeping my Wife in the Hospital for a Month prior to birth, but his delivery only lasted 45 minutes. He weighed 7lbs 15oz, He's a very good baby.

Yeah, I kinda believe a bit more now.
