Whenever i go for fuel I usually somehow get some on my hands.I have tried lemon juice acetone but nothing seems to get the smell off.Does anyone know a secret way to get the smell of diesel off your hands without waiting a few hours?
On your dry hands, rub in some straight Dawn. Then add a few drops of warm water, to thin it a bit, and rub in some more. Then wash them well. If it's a significant amount, use a stiff bristle brush to word the soap in, and be sure to pay attention to under your nails and up your wrists. Dry hands, and finish off w/ a white vinegar splash.

I love the smell of diesel in the morning.
I never care about smelling like diesel when I fill my truck, and my girl freind probably finds it less offensive to then what I smell like after work. But, I fuel my boat on a day I am not going out or after fishing so that the smell of gas isn't on my hands while I am baiting my hook.
Guys,... I'm not trying to wizz in your corn flakes here, but the toxins from touching diesel fuel can stay in your blood stream for weeks and diesel fuel mechanics have a high rate of cancer,.. just so you know

Let me know when you get it ready. I'll buy a bottle from you. I think we should have two different scents, "diesel exhaust" and "diesel fuel." I prefer the exhaust.
Brenian, I'm sure the toxins in diesel cause cancer, but so do just about all petroleum based products, including gasoline. We live in a chemical world today so figure that just about everything can give us cancer....from the foods we eat, to the fuels we use in our vehicles.
