Could someone remind me what standard size is for the diamond jigs that we use for blues and bass? I'm making a big order for the season and I think I remember that it's usually around 4 ounces. Is that right?

Depends on where and how deep you are fishing.
In Plum Gut and the Race we use them up to 10-12 ozs, but for chasing schoolies around in the late summer we use 2 ozs. Four ozs is probably the most standard on the majority of the party boats that jig in water up to 50-60ft deep when not in a ripping current. Hope this helps a bit.

As indicated there is no standard size of diamond jigs, not even sure that there is standard sizing system. My opinion and its only an opinion, the A27 is the most widely used diamond jig, and should be 3oz, but there is a A37 and A47 which puts that weight is question. Bluefishing in NT bight the size is A27.

http://www.srmo.com/ has ridiculously cheap diamond jigs. I'm not sure about their quality but they should be delivered tomorrow so I'll let you know. Otherwise, all the jig places online are practically the same.
