The DEP has re-opened the roadway over the Kensico Dam to cars. Trucks and vans are still prohibited. The road is manned by DEC cops 24/7.
The Army Core of Engineers is advising the DEP on how best to protect the reservoir's infrastructure.
Well, at least it's a start. Hopefully we'll see them relax the no fishing restrictions by spring.
