My pop lives in Deerfield Beach, Florida and I usually stay at the Howard Johnson's on the beach, a stone's throw from the Deerfield Beach fishing pier. Am wondering what kind of fishing/ fish is available in that part of Florida. Anybody have any idea?

Ah yes, that's my friends (Mark Sosin and Capt. George LaBonte) playgrounds! I've caught various species from Spadefish, Snook, Albie, Bluerunner, Cuda, Snappe, etc...

Gamakatsu is right! There are MANY species to be caught and it also depends on the season. Take Gamakatsu's advice.... And you will be in good hands!
