I saw in the Newsday that there is a "Reading" of Dark Noon, the book about the Pelican that went down in Montauk in the 50's, by Tom Clavin the author. It is at 4:30 today. I cant make it but I was wondering if anyone else will be going? It sounds pretty interesting. I did read the book.
If anyone goes I would love to hear what you thought about it.

Where is it going to be?

I read that book over and over again.....sad story...but good reading. How times have changed since that story.
It is today from 4:30 to 6:30 at the Romany Kraamoris Gallery, 41 Main St. Sag Harbor. 631-725-2499.
I was too young to remeber it but my cousin remembers her father taking her down to the docks when they were bringing in the bodies.
To bad it's so far for me, I would of loved to have gone.
I feel the same way. If it was in Hampton Bays I would have made the effort.
I googled Tom Clavin to see if he would be reading anywhere else but I found nothing.
