I need to replace the cushion on my leaning post, I think it came with the boat from the factory in 1988. Any suggestions for where to have a new cusion made? Thanks.

You may want to try Hampton Marine Upholstery in Southampton. They've been there for over 20 years -- located right on Route 27 across from the Sunoco gas station or just before P.C. Richard on the left hand side of the road...

Not sure how far you are willing to go, but I used a place in Patchouge on the Patchougue River. If you are interested, I will dig up the name of the place and a phone number for you. I had him custom build a new Bimini Top as well as redo my knee cushions and all seat cushions. He does nice work.

Cushions

Its not too close to Montauk, but Forean Custom Canvas in Huntinton Harbor is great. They make all sorts of canvas/vinyl products and are nice people. My buddy re-did his bumper panels last year throught them and was thrilled. They are also the manufacture of "Canyon Products". Pick up a chum bag or surf bag while your at it?
