It's that time of the year again. My wife and I are planing our summer trip.

I am somewhat new to the crusing thing and would like to know what marina's you guys recommend.

We will be staying at Star Island Yacht Club for a few days so I can get offshore for a trip or two. That is the only port that we have commited to.

We have been to Milford CT, Mystic CT, Sag Harbor NY, Port Jefferson NY, and Montauk. Other then the ports listed above, what are your fav's

I have a 34' pursuit with a 13' beam. I need two 30amp services.

Any suggestions would be a great help.

Essex and Norwich in Connecticut. Manhasset Bay and Greenport on LI.

Three Mile Harbor is great for the Hamptons. Block Island -- Champlin's is always a blast. From there, you can run up to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket if you have time or Newport.

Is Champlins the marina where they raft boats up at the dock three deep?

I want to go to Block Island but I have heard horror stories about having to move the boat at all hours and people climbing all over your boat.
