Hi, Mr. Crazy Al. What is your favorite pier lure? I am having a hard time catching striped bass on 69th Street Pier in Brooklyn. I tried my favorite lure which is a rapala rattlin trap. I cannot get a striper to hit it. I fish the early morning incoming tide and outgoing tide. So far no luck. I tried using a red/white bucktail, hopkins no-equal, and an A27 diamond jig.
I also need your help or anyone who is reading this post. I found a suggestion in an UK web site. I forgot to bookmark it and need your help in finding it again.
