hey guys whenever i try to open either google.maps or mapquest.com my internet connection crashes and closes. all other websites and internet actions seem normal. this in on an apple powerbook g4 with 1.33ghz and 512 kb of memory. started a few days ago and only happens with the mapping sites. any ideas?

have you tried cleaning/deleting your Temp Files Cache?

mike. i started buying the stock when i started buying the computers. that was in 99.

jpd. i use safari. thats a browser correct?

dawnpatrol136. i have not, i will take a look at that tonight. excuse my ignorance but where would i start to look for that?

dawnpatrol thanks i now know how to empty my temp cache. unfortunately it didnt get it done.

jpd thanks i couldnt read the thread too much computer geekdom in there but i got the gist. downloaded firefox (which ive been draggin me feet on) and solved all problems. and i love the interface/browser to boot. thanks for the help.

Firefox is good for PC.

Download Camino (do a google search). It is the Mac version of Firefox. I use Macs at home and work on them. Camino is better to use. No problems ever.

Seems that you fixed the problem but I would say Camino will be better to use.
