Great to see so many bunker stacked up in Cos Cob (Mianus River) and Greenwich area. They were so deep the past few days in the Mianus it was unreal - haven't seen it in years!!

Anyone concerned that these guys could be fighting for oxegyn?? Just hope this doesn't lead to a red tide type of kill off.

Any thoughts?

I was fishing them last night in greenwich harbor...we could see a nasty red tide but time will tell. The blue fish have been un real...not too much hitting the live lined ones but if you chunk em and throw them out tehre they hit hard. It was really insanse last night. as I watched the schools of bunker all around me you could see the blues come up and bite the bunker clean in half and then circle back around to fisnish it off. Not sure if theyre looking for oxygen or what the reasoning behind it is??
