Coolest bite I ever saw!

I was fishing the high tide around 11 pm on Friday night. As I stripped the line the fly would light up and leave a trail of iridescent light behind it. The bass would come up and take shots at the bait but all you would see is a large ball of iridescent color and then come tight. Any one else getting these colorful night bites?

Caught 6 that night and was kind of sad because I moved to Stamford CT in the morning. PM me if you know any good spots to throw the fly in Stamford.

That iridescent light you saw is phosphorus

Also known as "fire in the water" which some hate when night bass fishing. Glad to see you connected Teddy, must have been cool to see.
