Dielectric grease is one solution. Just don't overdue it.
The other is to clean the contacts every couple of trips with a spray of electronic contact cleaner followed by a light spritz of WD-40.
You do need to wipe off all the old dielectric and clean off the accumulated buildup every so often to work best.
