Found this site and after reading a few issues it brought me back to the time I spent fissing on the Commodore out of Island Park, with Capt. Clem Esposito. and mates John & Stephen Gabrile. It was a family affair with all the regulars. Looking to see if any of my fellow fisherman are still around. Live here in Florida has put a damper on my fluke fishing. Ira

Yea, it was a good boat. But it's no longer there.

I'm still around. Family kept a boat there back in the 60's. The fishing station and Jim's Junk closed in the early 70's to make way for future condos that never got built.

Schoolman, I kept in touch with Clem & His wife Judy for years after I moved to Florida. But haven't heard from him in about 10 years or so. We would get together in the Keys to fish. He probally lives in Florida these days.
