would anyone know any decent spots to fish from cold spring harbor? i will be going out on my friend's boat to land him his first bass. dont really know the area well. anything would help. thanks! PM me if you'd like.

This time of the year adjacent Oyster Bay/Bayville area will hold stripers, blues, porgies and some of the best fluke fishing in the western sound. Open up your options and try for different fish depending on your best chance at the moment. A lot of the Western Sound party boats will be fishing that Bayville area now, and that will also give you a good idea as to what's happening out there.
