With the wind at my back (wind WNW @ <10 knots) and the sun in my face, I braved the chilly temps (33 degrees) and had a fun morning doing battle with "old Mr. yellow eyes" Fished the bottom of the outgoing tide on the back bays of Shinne**** this morning from 6 to a bit after 8 am, with dead low coming a little after 9 am. I was really looking for stripers, but it seemed that the blues were all I managed to get today. All the blues (four at about 6 to 8 lbs. each) were taken on an olive/white clouser, and all were released unharmed. If I can get my lazy ass out of the sack tomorrow morning, I hope to give it another shot as the temps are supposed to be a bit warmer and the wind is supposed to be about 6 or 7 knots out of the NW. ..........Tight lines to all.....GHOSTRIDER <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=147793" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> |
