hey Crazy Al i am going on a cod trip in a week ...what kind of jigs , teasers and rigs would you recommend. thanks...BOB

Hello Bob,

First of all, it all depends which body of waters you are planning to fish.

If you are planning to fish ?North? (Cape Cod, Stellwagon grounds, etc) where there are strong currents? I strongly recommend that you use 10 ? 20 oz. Diamond jigs with teasers or grubs.

If you are planning to fish the local waters (Montauk, Freeport, NJ waters) I recommend rigs with clam or fresh fish strips tipped with 8 ? 16 ounces bank sinkers.

Al I'm GOin on a cod trip on saturday and i spooled up with white tuf line, but would the white color spook the fish?
