have a cod rod listed in the classifieds listed rods for sale 9ft,fugi guides,aftco reel seat and i believe the blank is shikari we use a lot on the west coast.

I heard about Shiraki blanks, but I've never seen them myself.
How is the action of the blank ?

Supposed to be pretty nice fast action graphite blanks, medium modulus. I never bothered with them, since they aren't on par with GUSA, but were priced like they are. Which I suspect is what lead to the company's demise.
