Hi guys, Looks like I'm going to try my first cod trip here in about 2 weeks. I've got my rods/reels figured out (at least for now)

I am on a real tight budget as far as tackle but I would like to order enough jigs to get started. Norwegian/Diamond/Crippled herring. Any suggestions as to how many I need for 1 trip and the best place to order them?

Thanks,

JIGS !

SR- try this web site I got it off a prior discussion board www.jigsrigsandstuff.com . They have the best prices on the cod jigs. They are not the Stainless Steel high quallty jigs( they are plated instead ) but they work just as well and at around $7 a piece its a lot easier to lose a few of these on rough bottom then a Crippled Herring or Solvkroken at about $15/piece. I ordered 2 each of the 14,17 and 21oz jigs of each the tubular and Norwegian style.( The 21 0z tubular is great for rippin currents or fast drifts) And also a few 12 and 14 oz hammered diamonds
(12oz for slack water). You also might want to get some teasers. I like blue- either flies or 6" plus sluggos ( which I am having a hard time finding this year in the electric blue color.) Good Luck - let us know how you do.
