I am looking for a good product that cleans white nonskid decks. In the summer month's while sharking and chunkin tuna, my deck gets a beating with blood and chum, add to it the beating sun on a summer day and i just cant bring the deck back to white at day's end! does anyone know of a soap i can use to bring the white back at the end of a day's fishing?

little bottle of elbow grease

i found a product called greased- lighting, at costco, works very well on those stubburn stains.this stuff is very strong and if you spray it and leave it unatended you will have some spots that are to clean. so reduce it with water.
i use turle-wax spray wax{quick-detailer} when the deck is clean, and dry, to make eisier to rinse the goo off.wont make the deck slipery either. but, the greased -lightning removes any wax, so its a never ending process.
the trick is to is to keep the boat clean throughout the day if theres blood wash it off right away.or chum chunks,or fish sh#t.{thats the worst}. scrub it off right away. or it will stain the gell coat.

First try Marykate "Detail Cleaner" and a good stiff deck brush.

If that fails to remove the offending stain then a spritz of the Marykate "On and Off" as mentioned above will take that blood right out of the gelcoat.

Make sure to rinse well after cleanup and stand up-wind when you spritz it, its a potent combination of acids that are harmless to gelcoat, but death to stains.

Try mixing a good boat soap with laundry bleach, or putting a small quantity of bleach directly on stains...works for me! You just don't want to use a lot of bleach, bearing in mind it is not necessarily environmentally friendly.

It's called paint ;)

If it really bothered me, I'd just give it a once over & paint over the messy spots w/ more non-skid paint. Takes the same time, but looks better. Those blood spots add character though, I think you should leave them ;),

On/Off

Agree about being careful with On/Off. If you get it on your clothes, it will eat away at the material QUICKLY! I use it on rust stains and it works great but be careful.

Also like Soft Scrub for the blood, dirt oxidation and other stains.

Try Barkeepers Friend. It is cheap and easy to find in either the grocery store or Walmart. This should clean the stains. Then use Woody Wax once the boat is clean. This will make rinseing of the deck much easier.
