SJ,

I disagree with the use of the high low rig with chunks.. I feel that the chunk needs to be in a natural state floating in the current.. The fish-finder rig allows it to do just that.. The H\L rig inhibits that.. I know casting is limited with the fish-finder but to me it's worth it.. If you're catching them with the semi-high\low than all the power to ya, this is just my opinion.. Floating a chunk is the absolute best way to bait fish but it's usually hard to find yourself in a situation where you can do it.. Usually a back bay or harbor to floatem.. Otherwise, it's a fish-finder rig for me..

Al, I agree that the conventional gives you more of what you need to turn that cow if need be but I feel pretty confident with my neptune and 10'6 Ben Doerr.. It's a med-heavy rod and matches up very nicely with the 7500 size reel.. I do agree with you though, I just haven't convinced the wife yet that I need another $500 to get setup with a conventional outfit.. haha..
