With this Noreaster predicted for tonight and tomorrow and the 2 to 3 feet above normal high tides after midnight it might be time to check and adjust your dock lines or mooring .

Just asked my buddy to be kind enough to go down to the boat and double up the lines(he's a lot closer than I am). Can't be too careful. Forecast is for Easterlies tonight 25 - 35 with gusts to 45 and tomorrow 30 - 35 with gusts to 45.

I knew there was a reason I haven't put the boat in yet. Looks like 2 days of gusting over 40.

Don't forget to check bilge pumps, batteries, and live well hoses. Bad live well hoses are high on the list for sinking at the dock.
