Flying Continental to mexico on Saturday. I will be taking my rods and reels carry on. But what about my fly boxes? You know, hooks and all....anybody have any experience with that?

I have brought my gear to mexico. When I checked it all my reels were stolen on the way home. Now I carry on. They will not let you bring on hooks, Other tackle you can.
